They haven't caught on fire yet. Has the same battery and charger manufacturer as my Gotrax scooter and it's been fine. I've had that since before 2020 with no issues.
The reasons for the 4 start reviews are for no fenders and manual disc brakes. They had to cut cost somewhere. And people have to bitch about something. :D Personally, I don't like the look of fenders and the brakes seem to stop ok when in pure pedal mode. I'll see what happens when it's powered.
It came adjusted out of the box, shifts thru all the gears smooth, head stock is tight and smooth, wheels are true. Just waiting on a full charge to rip this bomber around.

    Garage kickstand test.
Has pedal assist settings 1-5, 5 being fastest, take off torque is the same throughout.
Throttle is actually linear and not merely on/off.
Either front or rear brake pull will cut motor power. Disappointed it wouldn't do a rear burnout with the front pulled. With no brake, it pulled right up into my man bits. Gonna need to keep that in mind and try not to "rev" the motor at a light.
Been hot and dry all week, finally get delivery today and it's raining like a bitch out there with lightning and shit. Garage floor flooded. kiss my ass.

It should be easy to disconnect the switch from the levers, but it’s there for safety.

You can also plant a Virginia Creeper (somewhat invasive) as a sacrificial plant. The Japanese Beetles will all flock to that.

Took it for a ride. Damn thing gets up and goes, like hold the fuck on. Level 5 is no joke, I only hit 23 mph and eyes were tearing up, hat damn near blew off. When the pedal assist kicks in, it lunges forward.
Level 3 is about right, tops out at 20mph with pedal assist and is more predictable. Throttle works like a regular motorcycle at any setting.
Brakes were a bit sketchy at first, made lots of squealing sounds and not much stopping. I made a few speed runs and hit them hard and that seemed to do the trick, quiet and grabby now.
I have not tried full speed with just the throttle.
    Helmet will be here tomorrow.:anonymous:

Very spring like weather in that region. Typical of that area.
The Northern territory doesn't get nearly that bad of weather. Usually just drought and fire.

Fresh Pet has forever ruined my dog.
Went thru two small bags, half cup in the morning, and one in the evening.
Yesterday there was enough for the morning ration. He let me know that evening this was entirely unacceptable.
This morning, mopey dog. Went shopping, got him some more, and now he's my friend again.
Shit's expensive. Although, it does look like good burrito filler, with a bit of melted cheese and some potato it might be pretty tasty.
