Good morning

Today is a skeet type day. Haven't shot skeet in a couple of years so it is past time. Have a friend that I'm dragging him down the shooting clays rabbit hole and it hit me the other day that skeet might be easier to get him started then sporting clays and 5 stand that we have been doing. Either way going to be a fun time.

So much for enjoying the cool Saturday morning weather . Had a few Bald faced hornets chase me off my patio

 

We had one in the house recently just a single. But I need to be looking for a nest there’s one somewhere close by.

I started my IT career back in the early 90's, when everything was in the same building, or campus as the people that used the resources. I am still a bit leery of "cloud everything". For several reasons. I think many top level execs like the ides of the cloud, because that pushes the ownership, support, and responsibility of most things to a 3rd party. You still manage your resources to some extent, but if their data center goes down, a WAN link goes down,..... it's someone else's responsibility, so the company can claim their stuff has fewer outages. Whatever... those decisions are above my pay grade, I just have to do my part to keep it all working.
