    Hey Gang,
A.T. Hun here and hope all is well. I’ve found a used Leer cap 3.5 hrs away from me that, based on the owner’s purchase paperwork, should for my 2012 DCSB Tacoma TRD OR perfectly. For those of you who bought your cap 2nd hand from an individual, did you take it to a dealer and have them do the reinstall or did you do it yourself? If so, how hard is it?

Very easy to put on a truck. Only gets slightly challenging when you need to wire in a brake light but you don’t have to do that when you buy it. Just make sure the guy you are buying it from has the proper tools to remove it and you bring a backup set.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You guys can throw it on there no problem. Make sure you get the clamps too and you’ll be good. Get off the couch and good luck!

I have a Snugtop Rebel that I custom ordered 3 years ago with all the features - reinforced roof (the “sportsman” package), windoors, roof rails, paint match, etc. It’s been really great and I’d recommend it.

That said, I’m getting a camper to replace it in a few weeks so it’s currently for sale (if interested! I’m in So Cal).
