He was the type that only wore it on special occasions. I think it was given to him from an employer that he had retired from. Like a going away present, I’ve been looking but I doubt I would be able to afford an original band or bracelet that came with it.

It probably came with leather, maybe alligator or lizard strap. It's a very nice watch in excellent condition from the looks of it. $100 will be a very nice strap, hell $30 or $40 will get a really nice strap

I have a 50’s era omega constellation that was given to me also with one of those flexible stretchy bracelets (Speidel?) would have loved to find an original bracelet but no luck…. You can get some decent aftermarket type bands from aliexpress on the cheap…. Which I thought was better than the flexi ones….. timed the constellation I have 70 years later still good with in 2 secs a day….probably with no service ever…. But who knows.

Thanks. My dad worked for NASA during the moon shot and I always wished he had an old Omega I could inherit. He always just wore the cheapest Casio digitals though. So, for my 50th birthday I got myself the Lunar Pilot as kind of a placeholder for when I can ultimately afford an Omega Speedmaster Pro. I like the Bulova a lot. Hit is heavy and feels well made.

Today is a 20+ year old Invicta pro diver. I bought a pair of them and gave one to my brother for his graduation from OCS at Fort Benning. They're both holding up well and function just fine all this time later. Japanese Miyota 21 jewel movement.

Today is cheesy gold Timex day. I finally got a new battery in it last night. I think I bought this one about 20 years ago on some super clearance but never wore it.20240710_074517.jpg

I'm rolling with the Certina DS Podium today. Super light weight for it's size. I'm not a leather strap fan so I'll probably look into swapping it out at some point.20240717_162737.jpg

I finally got a new battery in my old Seiko. It was the first "expensive" watch I owned. I got an office job (coming from retail) in 1999 and bought it from the Sears in the mall I worked in. It was on sale for right around $100. I had to replace the original band as it got stretched out and bent over time. 20240722_162021.jpg
