When I got the job the Plant Manager told me "those compressors are awful, they overheat and shut down every summer".

Rusty >> o_Oo_Oo_O -- WTF is he talking about, I've never overheated a compressor in my life...

Well, when you are low on oil, way overtime on your filters & oil and the cooler has 37 pounds of dirt caked in it that might be the problem...

I'll admit I never stopped intentionally using the blow gun to blast plant air down my boots.

Holy, shit! Does that feel good when your feet are swimming their own sweat!

Dont judge til you've tried it.

    You can thank me later.

It's part of our procedure before these guys get suited up that we flow those lines for a minute each line, in this case that's 85psi coming through there.

You can bet it goes under my shirt for at least 58 of those seconds

I'm gonna try the air gun to the boot and see...

Creed wins today, nobody else got to see a sweet helicopter, gigantic snow plow and an ancient music box, the patina on that is fantastic btw.

Rusty close second That sounds like an awesome day too.

I did manage to mow the yard, which in my world right now is a huge victory. I'll take it.

Flavor is good. The... patte texture of the inside is a little hard to get used to. But for free fitty, I'll eat it

I wasn't aware there was a Saturday competition!

My late 4th place entry, I visited the 'famous' shipshewana area, successfully avoiding all the Amish bikes and buggies.

One of the stores was advertising for a future charity auction, someone donated a fully pimped out Amish buggy. Led strobes, brakes, turn signals, a full switch panel above the driver's seat, overhead fans for front passengers, as well as a ventless propane heater unit. It's nicer than some of my past cars! I should've taken some pictures of it.

I visited a lot of shops, nice stuff, nothing I really needed.

The spent the next 4 hours bouncing through some surplus rv shops after that. Ended up getting all the parts to build a remote 7-blade plug tester for work. And scored big, finding some Resondo Labs speakers(they don't sell to the public) at the next surplus store, cutting a deal for $3 each. I got 30. You know, just in case.

Of course none of that compares to an old music box, snow blower, or heli, but interesting enough for me

Interesting looking speakers. What were they originally used in?

Very little that I know of.

    https://www.resonado.com/technology

They were pushing for low profile, unobtrusive complete speaker designs.

But their site is all set up for selling to other businesses to build products using their components, and not individuals. Which is a really hard sell for a new more expensive product.

They partnered with parts express for another version that's slightly more powerful. But the price and lack of other options sort of make it difficult to use.

    https://www.parts-express.com/Dayto...ore-Neodymium-Woofer-4-Ohm-295-248?quantity=1

The fact that trays of them ended up at rv surplus stores would indicate it's not going well

It’s the North Country. We’re always a low priority compared to down state.

Good morning everyone, I hope you have a pleasant Sunday :hattip:
