IMG_3609.jpgFor context my rear differential has been worked on and is sealed with rtv after a Truetrac install. (Dealer won’t warranty it) The nuts are torqued and the breather is indeed working. I’m just wondering if a “weep” like this is worth bringing it back to the shop where I had the work done and complaining to them

    It will only get worse......

I'd mention it to who ever did the TrueTrac.

Well as said above it won’t fix itself.

Back in the 70s and 80s, every pumpkin rolling down the road looked like that. Fix it right or learn to love it (and check the gear oil level every now and then).

    That's the anti-corrosion add-on package!

A weep like that from the top is nothing I would worry about. Checking the fluid all the time will likely use up more fluid than the weep will cause over the next 10 years.

I agree but it does indicate that you have fluid in it

Check out post #1931 on this link for the weeping rear end TSB that covered some 2016 and 2017 Tacomas. Lots of good info in the TSB if you or a shop is going to address your weep.
