Looking out into the rain but it's calm, cool and I'm outside.
    Love this patio.

I got woken up by thunder a little after 4am. It's been pouring on and off here on the Chippewa river.

I just looked at the website. I'm not sure if I'd say that ~ $20/lb is affordable. But, I might try some anyway.

A store here, called Just Local foods, carried JUST Coffee out of Madison. The link will explain their story better than I ever will. I was supporting the smaller Peruvian and Ethiopian farmers.
    https://justcoffee.coop/pages/about-us
(Just Local moved and is Menomonie Co-Op or something)

Edit: From my understanding there are smaller "roasters" more local to me, however they get their beans from the same place. (which is combinations of beans from multiple farms.)
With JUST you can track your beans back to the farmer.

For us, it's our weekend coffee.
Think of it this way, you start your day with a high quality, maybe costly coffee. You end your day with a high quality drink.

I think I'll order some and try it. Like you, I like to keep some fancier coffee around for the weekends. :pccoffee:

I’ve never hear of JUST coffee but these guys are the real deal. He actually travels to the individual coffee growers. He occasionally gives coffee seminars with tastings of his wide variety of coffee.

Idk about Animal meat, bacon maybe. but get me a nice and smokey Honduran dark roast with hints of raisin or cocoa and I'm set. (make it a stoney ranger blend and the resting heart rate stays below 74bpm.):blahblah:

Bringing this topic from the other thread.
    Bike riding.
When I was growing up we were taught to ride our bikes going with traffic, obey stop signs and other traffic laws.
Did I miss something because now pretty much all I see is kids and adults riding against the flow of traffic and stop signs and red lights do not apply.

I delivered probably a ton of coffee beans once to Just Coffee...no loading dock and a bitch to back in off the street! Not very semi friendly.

Not to change the subject, but here’s something I bet pearing (and others) would be really into!

I can vouch for it being very good coffee as Pat was kind enough to share at the last Tigerton event. I may have to order some and do a side by side with something comparable from Stone Creek. Maybe a 3 way (that’s what she said!) tasting along with my daily go to which is Torke out of Sheboygan.

You guys and your fancy coffee. Not my thing. I once walked into the Starbucks flagship store in Seattle with Kimm'r. After 30 seconds I had to leave. The smell was making me nauseous. I skip the coffee aisle at the grocery store, too. I cannot stand the smell.

you are not wrong. Best way to bicycle on the street is to ride with and in traffic. Vehicular cycling is the correct term.

I see plenty of posts on social media about entitled cyclists and as someone who bicycle commuted for years I can tell you from the other side that there are plenty of clueless drivers whose windows I wanted to smash out. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending people riding 2 or more abreast and slowing up auto traffic. But auto drivers need to be aware of the fact they are in fact piloting 2-3 tons of steel with little concern for pedestrians and cyclists.

ok rant over. The issue with most adults and kids cycling these days is that they have been given little if any information on how to cycle on the roads. Most comes from well meaning people who think cycling is equivalent to walking as far as road use. Also people aren’t taught the regulations of the road at an early age. The thinking being that’s not needed until you need a drivers license. Which again is false. The real downside of all this is that when you encounter a cyclist on the road they may act in an unpredictable manner because they don’t know how to properly integrate with traffic. I could go on a whole discourse about the effects of suburban living and helicopter parenting coupled with the downgrading of our education systems. But that is a conversation over drinks while camping.

Boy that was a whole lot. To be clear I am agreeing with you and just consider myself somewhat knowledgeable on the subject. Also I may or may not be on my second mai tai.
