No email or bacon button

Been driving for 39 years, I think it's the first vehicle I drive that I can't turn off one vent.

 

I must be the only person that has never turned off a vent in my vehicle with one of those...

 

I just point them a different direction.

 

It's the same with the 3G. You can close the shades, redirect, or turn off the cabin fan altogether. You just can't turn off one vent.

 

Closing the vent blades is basically the same as turning bacon to email.

 

I'll have to recheck, I didn't think they closed all the way.

 

Same in my 2nd gen. The side-to-side knob is just to change direction. The louvers adjust up and down, and you can flip em down all the way to close the vent

 

My wife complains when I do that.

 

I complain when the girls cut off the vents.

 

Closable vents were the caveman's version of dual-zone climate control. Back in the 1800s when cavemen existed.

I have a Flintstones mobile, no dual zone control. It's common for one side to be in the sun, the other not which is why dual control was invented

For me it's either too cold because it's winter time and I run the heat, then it's usually too hot. I then turn off the heat. Or it's too hot and I turn the AC on, it usually never gets too cold because it's too hot out.

 

My Tacoma does not have dual zone climate control either. My wife will get the temperature I give her, and she will like it.

 

How dare you bring such revolutionary ideas in here?
