I went 2 for 3 on corn hole today! I think that's the best I've done before.

 

Question for the populace. Several months ago I was applying for part time jobs. I took one and have been working there for a month and a half. It's a good company with a good boss, but the work is...just work.

I just heard back from a different place this week. A more interesting place more in line with something I would be looking for career-wise. They asked for additional information which I have given.

If that were to become an option, is it poor form to accept something after so short a time with a different company which is accommodating?

Hasn't happened, and may not, but I like to think about these things ahead of time. Thoughts?

 

I live a sheltered life. I’ve never…ummm… corn holed. Or been corn holed either. Considering the source, I’m obviously misconstruing what it entails. Perhaps someone would enlighten me?

It's a game where you throw small bags full of corn into a round hole on a board about 30 feet away. You get points for getting bags in the hole or on the board. It's 2 teams of 2 playing against each other.

 

Life is all too short. Do whatever makes you happy.

Here’s what I tell everyone I know that has moved on. It’s your career, you have to do what’s good for you.
Everyone is replaceable and if you’re not being kept busy with work you desire, it’s your right to move on. Ideally a two week notice is always best but not always ideal.
