Hi. Just picked up this 2023 TRD Sport. Only 11k miles on it, so practically brand new.... or newer than any vehicle I've ever owned.

I LOVE this color. I kinda wanted a blue one, but they are super rare, and the blue I want is only available on older 3rd gens (Blazing Blue). I was happy to find a red one in a plethora of silver, gunmetal, white, and black ones.

One of the first mods I'll do is some sort of bed-cover. Probably a roll-up style, rather than folding one. I might want an electronic lock for the tailgate too, but using the key isn't the end of the world. Heated seats might be on the list too, but remote start can get it warmed up in the winter, so I guess we'll just see how that goes in a few months.

It has some aftermarket running boards. They're a bit wonky looking... not sure if I'll keep them long term. For now, they'll stay since the kids can step up easier.

Said goodbye to my 2014 Charger R/T AWD. Good ride for the past 6 years, but I was ready for something different. I've driven sedans for the last 25 years. This is my first truck.

Welcome! Nice truck. Those running boards look like rock sliders. Do they mount to the frame like sliders or do they mount under the cab and just simulate the slider look? I agree, in my opinion they look a little out of place without any other off road themed mods. You'll probably lose a good bit of weight and gain a good bit of cash if you do sell them.

They appear to be solidly bolted to the frame. They could use some touch-up though, since they've got some surface rust already.

Nice. I vote you lift it, fit some 35's, and do bumpers and skids all around to match :D.

Welcome to TW! Make sure you treat that frame with Fluid Film or something similar, I use RP-342 on my frame.

Just found out the rock sliders are kinda high end from a company called Cali Raised. They retail for like $1,400! Score! :yay:

Let me know if you decide to sell them. I'm also based in Minnesota and have been looking at these. They aren't the exact ones I want but I might be interested if the price is right.

Welcome my Barcelona red brother. I too wanted blue but couldn’t find any in TRD OR at the time. I’m ok with it though, seems like all the ones around me are either black, white, gray, or tan.
