    I don't know why people who are in charge assume they know how to do your job. A supervisor, lacking clearances to even see what my job is, tried to tell me I was wrong and what MY mistakes were. (There weren't any.) All while defending a very poorly constructed position, at its best, that someone else created. Since I can't say "STFU and do your dam job", I had to get my bosses boss involved (boss in on leave). This took an hour of my day. And to top all of this off, the SOP states what the requirements are for what was happening (they weren't met) and that my unit has the final say in the matter. And then he wants to explain why I'm wrong with a condescending "Mr. Rodgers" approach. None of that flies with me. Do your job. Make people do their jobs correctly. You're a manager for crying out loud. Manage, lead, or sit down and STFU! And let me do a job you know nothing about.

    This is one of the reasons I can't wait to retire.
