I have Bartact seat covers on the front seats. I've had them for 7 years and still holding up real good. They color match my interior perfect, black and gray.

I’m not sure yet how they are going to hold up but I wish I would’ve put something on the 4Runner years ago. The upholstery has held up really well to have 180something on it not a hole anywhere. But the padding is starting to show its age. I’ve just been to town and back a couple times but they seem more comfortable. A long ride will tell the tell.

My last company had all of it's IT functions outsourced to a variety of 3rd party vendors. The vendor doing Service Desk and Major Incident/Problem/Change Management was not doing a very good job, so the company terminated their contract, brought in a new Service Desk vendor, and decided to bring the ITSM functions inhouse. I was hired to build Major Incident/Problem/Change functions, and to make them work the way senior leaders wanted. I was the only US based person on all 3 teams, everyone else was South America, Europe or India. No doubt my salary was far higher than any of the others in my teams, and it is my firm belief that once I got things stabilized and working at an acceptable level, our new IT Vice President decided the teams were doing well enough that they could get rid of me, save my $salary, ,and just have the teams report to someone else.

They were also in the process of moving everything possible to cloud environments. Not just software, but storage and [virtual] servers as well. Maybe now, after last week, companies may realize there are some non-trivial benefits to keeping at least some core parts of your infrastructure as physical, on premises assets. All anyone cares about at the highest levels is the money, exactly as you said.

EAA Venture is this week. I live about 30 miles from the Oshkosh airport. I got to this on my morning walk.

If anyone is unfamiliar with Air Venture, it's the world's largest air show. This year they have a B-52 and a C-17.
