I have a friend who is a Coke purist, he has left a place that only had Pepsi. He will also ask for a can or a bottle if the fountain isn’t up to par. Yea, one of those… like the guy who orders a chicken dish and says “white meat only”.

 

There were 8pack bottles, IIRC, always around the house growing up. I don't recall ever seeing coke or pepsi in the house, only with fast food, restaurants, or quick stop joints on trips. I grew up on RC Cola. Probably explains the resilence of my accent.

 

No offense, but f@ck that guy ... I got more important shtuff to worry about.
