Bak Industries Tonneau

Any of yall have any experience with missing parts/supplies with BAK covers? I ordered a revolver x4s for my new 2024 and it got shipped with a critical component missing. Contacted where I bought (RealTruck.com) it Monday morning, and here we are Friday and no info from BAK. You'd think spending 1400 bucks on a tonneau would mean quality stuff...

 

Makes me nervous to hear, ready to pull the trigger on the same cover from Realtruck !

 

Hopefully you have better luck than me. As for me... still waiting for a reply... I'm gonna give it another couple days and call and speak to someone vs msging/emails. My hurry was due to a cross-country trip i've got in 2 weeks. /sigh

 

I’ve run two different Bakflip covers on two different trucks. One on my 2013 Ram and one on my Tacoma. I loved both covers and never had an issue with either one or how they arrived. I put them through the wringer too. I think you maybe unfortunately are experiencing a not so common issue.

I hope you get the stuff you need before your trip! I know that terrible waiting game very well.

 

I would give realtruck.com a call, I've call them in the past with issues and gotten very good service from them.

 

I second that! I've received great service from them.

 

Do some research. Bak has some very bad reviews on various forums as well as on YouTube.

 

Finally called in person instead of using the messenger on the website or email, and the missing part is being mailed to me and expected receipt in 5-7 days. Lesson learned = Call first.
