I want a 300L to go along with the Rally. It would serve as a "buddy bike" and still let me ride if/when I can pull the trigger on the 550 301 kit :D

I absolutely love these little bikes

That looks so sweet man. Did you change your seat by the way? Ever take any passengers?

It's a Seat Concepts seat that came with the bike. Never ridden with a passenger. I don't think the rear shock is up to the task. Suspension is a huge weak spot for the CRF300's. Mine will eventually be swapped for Rally Raid Level 1 stuff.

I ordered a PAIR valve delete from 550 Performance a while back to get rid of the charcoal canister and crap....and don't know where I stashed it. So I just ordered this kit from HiVolt. I like the fact it has the plugs with it.

I have a little dog that I don't think would do well boarding. She'd treat it like a trip to the Thunderdome  So, I got her a helmet, goggles, and backpack so that she can start moto camping with me.

Got a weird sound after using the front brakes this morning on the way to work. It happens for just a second after releasing the front brakes. I'm right at 8K miles, so I ordered some new pads front/rear

After adding camping gear in the mix, I'm gonna have to deal with the massive sag.

I have been dreaming of Rally Raid suspension for a while. I just can't stomach the $1700 cost. So I took a $250 gamble on a cheaper version. I was under the impression that the spring couldn't be replaced.

I bought a stock shock for $50 and replacement Race Tech spring with compressor for $120. I figured this way I won't have to take my bike out of commission if something goes wrong with changing the spring.

    tus_24_sho_spr_com-1493410001-2.jpg

I'll order the front upgrade for $130 at some point.

Cools. I haven’t looked your bike up in any way at all. Can you not even adjust preload on the rear spring at all to help some?

I found out awhile back that Eibach, does moto f/r springs as well. Been meaning to tell you, but kept forgetting about it. That said, for my bike.. they list many a rear spring but no real useful info on them. The only thing I see is different part numbers for said springs. I have been meaning to call or shoot an email about them.

Looks like they list the Honda, but not your bike. I wonder if you can find out the inside diameter of the coil spring and thickness, along with length. And maybe find a possible spring from another bike to work.
