    Oh ok, well there you go - you rerouted the intake to pull air from the engine bay. I bet that hole you're talking about is where the stock intake used to pull cool air from the fender.

    I have been running the MT for just over a year. Before that, I was running Cooper 285/75/17 and ran them to the wear bars. Both are approximately 34s. The cooper was slightly shorter.

    My previous tacoma I ran 35's on stock gears and didn't have any issues. A little slow and some weird shift points but it was seriously fine. Go with wheels and tires first and then reggae down the road if you feel it necessary
