60+ year old thread.

Some lightning caused fires on the Plumas NF, here in California made the evening news out of Sacramento, Mill Fire and Smith Fires, now called the Gold Complex Fire. The Mill Fire had a big mushroom column earlier, some smoke obscuring the sky even where I live, 40 miles away. So hot and dry, those fires and a couple smaller ones will be hard to suppress. Evac orders for many in that area, one highway closed. A friend emailed me to ask about how close I was, told him I had not heard at the time. My neighbors all evacuated during the Dixie Fire which came within a few miles of our homes, I stayed, neighborhood was never so quiet with no barking dogs.

Evening Rob.... Giz is good, Zoie not so good - she's getting old and showing her age - she 13 1/4 How's Yoshi?

 

Gold Complex they are calling two of the fires in my county, almost 1300 acres in size, 9:30PM now, started around 2:30PM. Rapid growth, the winds blow easterly so away from me. In that area, but not where the fires started, they had 2 - 2.5 inches of rain from the thunderstorm.

Good morning! Warm and muggy, no breeze, morning here in the 727. I went for a walk around 5:30 and could barely keep ahead of the mosquitoes and no-see-ums.

As others have said, do the PT. I still do 5 exercises every day for a problem in my right shoulder. Therapist said it will never heal completely but at least the PT keeps the pain away. To be able to comb my hair without pain is nice.

Good morning. Nothing special going on today. Going to get my gym work in and then chair yoga at 10:30. Life is good.

 

I was shown 3 stretches to do . I did get a script for PT if I want to do it . X-ray showed arthritis with bone spurs in the ball and socket . Dr suspects a rotator cuff tear also so I’m waiting insurance approval for an MRI . I feel your pain ,it hurts to brush my teeth or any simple movements of my left arm ​
