After 10 yrs of issues I had mine fixed 8 yrs ago and have not had any issues since. I was rough for a 18 month Period but it’s been great so far.

Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Nice 0.75" down pour, which just stopped after we brought the groceries in! Today might make up for the little 0.10" late last night.

 

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

Trying to get back into some semblance of a normal routine, again.

I got the truck back about 2 weeks ago. Repairs are complete except for the tailgate which is still on backorder (until October). They did a great job and it drives like new.

Honey is growing quickly. She's almost 19 weeks old and now has the run of the house when we are home. Otherwise, she's gated in our laundry room area with her sister, Duffy, when we're out. She is still sleeping in her crate. Our bed is still to high of a jump for her to make safely up or down...but it won't be long before she'll be sleeping with us. She is really an awesome pup!! Took this picture with her sister this morning.

Hi all. Since we're kinda on the subject of dogs.

Mimi and I went away for a few days and Baxter stayed with a niece of ours.

We picked him just a little while ago and we're all back home. Needless to say he was happy to see us!!

 

Dogs are the most loyal creatures on earth.

 

Today it’s 105. Yesterday to escape the heat we drove up into the mountains to a little mountain lake I know for a picnic and to do a little fishing. I’ve caught a lot of rainbows there in past years. It’s at 7800’ and living at sea level I really noticed the altitude especially being an old fart. Had a great picnic lunch - fried chicken , potato salad and other delectables. Fished for an hour and hooked up one nice rainbow that became unbuttoned right at shore. I had dreams of fresh rainbow for dinner but it was not to be. Back down to the valley heat today. Spent an hour in the pool this morning, gave my veggie garden a little extra water and back into the A/C for the rest of the day. Stay cool all.
