I got that way with my cage. Was just sick of it. So I took it to someone else to do the tubes from the cab exit to the bed cage. Only took the dude about 4 hours but probably saved me a week of my life from just being done with the work.

I want to just drop this off somewhere and pick up a completed truck but I don’t know if any Holley experts here in phx.

is it worthy? Still feels like a shitbox to me. Maybe after it has a center console and working dash screen.

Can you make a “I’m one minor inconvenience from taking a trip to CARMAX” shirt?

I pulled the entire harness out of the truck and off the motor and went over every inch of it. I found some unterminated sensor wires that aren’t used for the LS6 that I guess could’ve theoretically shorted, so I heat shrinked them. I also did a resistance check on every wire and each one was under half an ohm.

I resleeved the entirety of the engine harness to prevent future chafing.

Injectors were being a bitch, need to get some hardware tomorrow before I can throw those back in, also need to throw the AC wiring back in the truck, but everything is so much neater and nicer in there. I put new MSD coil packs in and genuine ceramic plug wires, and while I was changing it I found a loose spark plug. So that, combined with my exhaust gaskets not being in the exhaust, combined with chinesium injectors/coilpacks, I hope the afr issue is solved

I also wired up the Holley pro dash so it’ll be plug and play for the dude when he installs it. Only thing I haven’t really done is run power for the radio in the center console. Debating whether or not I even do it now or if I wait till the center console is done.

The weird sensor errors haven’t come back yet. No tps errors either but I also haven’t really put it through its paces yet.

put 13 hours in on this thing today, in the 110* heat. I’m over it.

So what you're saying is, don't cheap out on certain things.

Regardless, you found some probable issues. In that time, it offered you the opportunity to refine the build, which ultimately helps your future self.

Definitely a productive day. If this were a show, you'd have been done in like 10 minutes....lol

Yeah I guess this is true. I don’t know for a fact if anything I did is gonna make a difference or not. I really am fearful of test driving this thing and it happening again.

But then you'd never drive it and never know. Keep moving forward, no matter what. It is all coming together.

When I was building my friend's LS3 BRZ, he ordered some substandard parts. Didn't think they would cause a problem. They bit us. He didn't do that anymore. Slowed down the project. We overcame. You will just the same.

I know it's not fun in the moment, but remember where you started! The last little bit always takes the longest. What I would do to be at the point where I'm troubleshooting engine issues right now haha. I got a loooong ways to go before I'm even cursing at the stuff you're working on right now!
