    Hi folks

I need to lift the engine about 2 inches max to change out the old lower oil pan.

I got the fan sheild detached.....
What else do I need to detach or watch out for before I jack it up?

    Thanks
    Jen

Never done one on a 2 Gen.
But you might need to unbolt the transmission mount to gain some room?
Other than that, look for any connectors and wiring. Don’t want to pull any apart.

Just go slow. If it feels like it’s “stuck”. Stop and take a look.

She's a stick shift, so does that still apply given the difference? I literally only need 2 inches at the very most just to get clear of the intake tube.
No need to worry about brake lines?

    That is one way.
    Lifting the engine us another.

I live off the Canadian east coast and salt us used on the raids during our very long harsh winter. The vehicles here rust like you can't possibly imagine.
Lifting the engine very slightly is far less time consuming and much much less frustrating.
