Does anyone know off hand what the PM service interval on fuel filters is?

@JasonLee We had some good rain Sunday over here & a busted up caddy slide into the neighbors backyard. Fence & all. It's always the stoplight on the hill by my house. I’m going to go see if I can get some pics. Someone abandoned the caddy in the backyard after the accident. Crazy thing was, not a single APD LEO showed up. It was all Arapahoe Sheriff's LEO. Probably about 6 cruisers total

I’m glad I got back and put the truck back in the garage, it stormed like crazy at home. I don’t think it turned to hail fortunately.

    Fat bike upgrades.
This model has no provision for a water bottle. Must be to keep costs down. It may be an e-bike thing too because if you're breaking a perspire, you're doing it wrong.
    But hey, we get thirsty.
There are some universal Velcro strappy things that are not going to be compatible with my battery situation. And they just look like shit for 40 bones.
Having owned the vintage Zefal bottle cage for several decades, I knew it was minimal and had space to be utilized for things other than a bottle. (like slide a battery through) Plus it's still being sold exactly as it was 40 years ago. Gotta love that.
    Printed an adapter.
Backside, with relief for the nuts. This was covered with felt to protect the bike finish.

High density foam rubber at the base for it to rest on the bike frame.

    Groovy.

Battery situation. It has to go down just a bit for the top portion to lock in.
It doesn't need to be removed, and can be charged on the bike. But I like to bring it in and have one less set of fuckin cords strung across the garage. :D It's getting crowded in there with two motorbikes, this, my business merch, tools, tables, it sucks. 1st world problems. I know.

Stock tires are nice, ride fine, but are loud. I'm already over it. Plus they were a bit thin in the carcass department, and I hate flats.

So I upgraded those as well. 2.2 pounds heavier but the rolling resistance is much less and they are almost silent. Plus a confidence inspiring carcass.

I'll say this, after doing these in the garage, the front is easy with the quick release and nothing else to mess with. Trailside repair is no different than any other bike.
The rear was much more involved and might be nightmare on the trail. There is a power cord attached to the wheel, that uncouples and has a half dozen zip ties, plus 4 spacers that need to be oriented the right way, different for each side, plus just the weight of the damn thing alone.I used a bucket to work with it.
And it's nutted with some unknown size. It appears an 18mm is the ticket and I don't think they exist.
And last, mention of the brakes. They work just fine after breaking in. But they squeal louder than the dude in Deliverance. Semi-metallic pads is what it came with
So I replaced those with ceramic pads, went thru a quick break-in and quiet as can be. That was a $6.95 upgrade and ten minutes of time that was totally worth it.

Poor placement choice for the bottle. Every fart is aimed directly at the mouthpiece....

How do you sit on a bike seat? Is your butthole right on the "tip" of the seat? if so, that raises questions.
A public school system educated individual can plainly see that bottle is placed forward of any kind of waste distribution system.

Most action this thread has seen this week. Kind of sad. :D
Pump showed up, reprinted the thing with a slot to accommodate it.

New Vibrelli pump. It's ok, but I like my old Bell Airstrike 300 better. That one stays on the green bike.

Seems like you're the 3D Printing King now.

Any chance you can print these ratchet holders (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in anvils) for a lot less money?

You can do colors? Clearly not peon status.

I honestly have no idea how 3D printing works... can I choose one color for 1/4", one color for 3/8" and one for 1/2"?

And what colors can I choose from?

Currently you can have any color you want as long as it's black or silver. That's what I have in a filament that can take a little heat in the sun. In case your toolbox is out in the sun. :D I'm about to order some blue, green, red and maybe orange.
So you can pick from those. If you know what magnets you are using, give me the diameter and thickness and I can make sure they fit. I can do either the Thingiverse file or make my own from the KB dimensions, which may or may not be better. I'll take a look at the files later tonight when my internet comes back.

Tool box will always be in the garage.

I'm trying to research magnets so I'll get back to you on that.

This could be dope. I'll obviously pay for any material and time.... but out of curiosity, is it cheaper than the $20 or whatever they're charging for three holders?

Much cheaper. A roll of filament is less than that and can produce prolly 107 of those. Not counting the screw ups. You retrieved a lamp for me, then got it halfway to my house.
You were in a position to do me a favor, now it's my turn to return the favor.

Would this 6x3x1.5mm magnet work? I'm trying to find the dimensions of the anvil holder and shaft holder.
