Check out The Great Escape Journey cover band.
    Very good.
    They're all over New England.

Their home performances are at the Hudson Portuguese Club and the Hudson Elks.
Bang for your buck can't beat a night outdoors at the Hudson Port Club. $5 beers. $4 linguisa sandwiches on Portuguese bread.

Travis did an awesome elevated drum solo during Not Now. It wasn’t as good ad the one I saw at one of the Tweeter Center shows (forget if it was 2004 or 2010) where he was doing somersaults.

I’d love a small venue as well, but they’re doing a run of huge venues since Tom rejoined.

I’d pay silly money for a Dude Ranch show in its entirety, but that wouldn’t ever happen.

I think the smallest venue I’ve seen them play was the Orpheum in Boston for WBCN’s X-Mas Rave in 2003. Other than that it was Suffolk Downs and the Tweeter Center.

I definitely prefer a smaller venue (Avalon was my jam prior to them closing but I could learn to love the Roadrunner) but beggars can’t be choosers.

I’m getting old though. I paid through the teeth to park on Jersey Street, made dinner reservations at Game On to make things easy and got covered seats just in case it rained. Gone are the days I’d wing it and hope for the best.

I spent too much on merch but I rarely go to shows so whatever.

my brother is going to this as well, I’m not sure I have ever heard of a 2 day concert separated by a day. He was pissed that it’s either 2 nights of hotel or drive back and forth.

I've started to get into the SMALL small shows - this is from Dave and Tim Hause playing at Faces Brewing in Malden. Great brewery, small room in the back. 3 feet from the stage. It's a great time

The low key shows have really earned a new place in my heart. We did Bruce last year at Gilette which was cool in its own right.

The small billy strings shows we got to see are the best ones we have ever seen. One of the reasons we love our bluegrass stuff, small shows. We saw Chris Stapleton before he was a household name, that was like 16 years ago.

I’ll have to check them out, then. I haven’t heard anything since Lead Sails, Paper Anchor (Blow is fantastic).

I saw them with From Autumn to Ashes in 2004 at the Palladium in Worcester and it was absolutely epic. I had to check the date as 2004 doesn’t make a ton of sense to me as I thought it was later, but that’s what Google says. I wouldn’t have even known Atreyu as Atreyu yet (found them through a coworker that summer) but I remember the show being epic.

I did see them last year in Taunton. Think I have before as well..as well as Scarab if they're still going.

And yes that counts as 2 shows for Metallica.

Tweeter Center? You might have misspelled Great Woods haha..

And yeah they're definitely getting the crowds at the big venues, gotta get it when you can for sure. I love the Orpheum for shows, perfect setup. Saw Satch and Vai there recently.

Sometimes I have to just wing it, depends on the place. I did the MBTA thing last fall for the Danzig show at MGM, not because of that per se but that there was a baseball game that afternoon.

Dare I ask what the merch cost..I rarely buy shirts anymore, mostly b/c I have too damn many already. Though Danzig almost always pries money from my wallet, given he isn't making a fortune and never really did.

I hadn't either unless you count festivals really, at least nobody I'd want to see. Hotel ain't ideal but the safe route especially knowing cops will be all over the place.

Saw them about 10-12 times and stopped after 2000. Though I did go to Boston Calling 22 for them after my brother in law bamboozled me into bringing him. That said, was very impressed. Sounded great as expected but only 2 songs on the list were after the Black album..the reason I stopped paying them is I don't want to hear the new stuff.

Anybody here running falcon shocks? Leaning towards new 5100s or 6112s 5160s and clear coating them but like the idea of aluminum bodies

    $Texas.

I got the show specific T-shirt and poster and then a generic album hoodie. Most of Blink's stuff looks like it should be worn by junior high kids, I'd prefer more reserved, but beggars can't be choosers.

I let out my inner hipster and enjoyed that I didn't see another 2001 tour shirt in my travels.
