Deleting previous owner info, Apple Car play?

Just bought ‘24 TRD sport, pre owned………can’t seem to be able to delete previous owner info from Apple Car play

help!

 

I had the same problem as the sales manager, who had their information stored. From what I remember, I had to do a full factory reset of the media and turn the car off and on, and it worked for me. There should also be a multimedia manual that may be able to walk you through it; from there, you'll need to create an account with the Toyota app to sync your preferences. If it doesn't show up at first, don't panic; turn the car on and look for your profile; if it's not there, turn the car off and on again without exiting the vehicle, and it synced for me, it took me a week to figure all that out, I hope it helps!

 

2 visits, to 2 separate Toyota dealers………4 service advisors, 1 manager……..and voila! It’s done……..

 

Do you know what they did? Asking for a friend who has to return a loaner....
