It’s been a long day, I’m heading in for the night. It’s on and all the power is hooked up. I still have a few bolts to install in the morning before heading out to the Big Meat Run.

 

Looks good. Do your duratracs wear weird on the outside edge on the front. I had two different pairs and both were cupped on the edge. High low high low. No matter what suspensions or alignments.

 

They have started to wear on th outside towards the end of their life. Took mine in for an alignment the other day and it was damn near perfect.

Looks great man! I need to do the same with my sliders and then stay on top of touch ups with spray paint.

 

Thanks! Sliders are next on my list to clean up. They were just such a pain to install. Probably going to just hit the underside with a wire brush and some spray paint.

 

Passed 77k miles on the truck today on the way to get a tire rotation and alignment. I may be able to get another 5-10k out of the Duratrac tires that went on at 34k miles. I really wish this size wasn’t discontinued.

 

Check these out. I ran two pair of Duratracs and now running these. Only slightly less aggressive and i swear they drive better, less noise, and wear more evenly. Problem is, believe you can only get them at DT.

Changed the front brake pads at 78k along with a much needed wash.

 

Did they have a bunch of life left? I did mine over 100k and still had like half the pad. But guess being manual and downshifting, not to mention mostly highway.

 

Mine were down to almost nothing, needed to change them for a while.
