Might be a tad bit high. They are probably trying to capitalize on the fact that 2024's Sports and OR's can't be had in AC. And also, no more clamshell doors on 2024 AC period.

I was surprised to see my 2018 TRD Sport AC 6MT on kbb.com for $36k. OTD that would make it $39.6k in my area:eek: I paid $37k OTD new. Although I do have about $5k mods into it :D

    Negotiate.

Thank ya! I’m also in the Bay Area and the tax dials things up even more.

    Going to stay patient.

I guess the days of Carvana offering crazy money are gone?

Oh man. Bay Area is probably marked up 10% on average over most parts of the country. And they are sloooow to lower pricing. But if you are eyeing those trucks, reach out to the dealer and put in an offer. Worse thing that can happen is they say no.

In Sep of 2023 I purchased my 2022 TRD Sport AC 6MT 4x4 with 11,500 miles for $40.5K. Taxes and fees were another $3K. I live near Fort Worth and bought the car from a dealership just north of Pittsburg.

I think the prices for those two trucks are a little on the high side, but I understand how hard it can be to find an AC with a 6MT.

Just bought my 2023 TRD Sport with 11.5k miles for $41,000 (plus TTL). Maybe not the best deal, but I've seen worse ones listed near me, and i'd been waiting for quite a while for a red one without some dealbreaking criteria.

I just bought my 2022 SR 4 door Magnetic Grey at 18k miles for $29,300. No special add ons. Just super simple. But I think it was a pretty great deal

Just purchased via private sale a 2022 Off Road with Premium Package that had 43,000 miles for $37,000. Guy at credit union said it’s worth $42,000.

    Wow!

As a newbie to the Taco world, I am ignorant of their values and used pricing. I know they hold a high re-sale value, but this is crazy!! I see some people paying in the $40ks for used models with over 10-20k miles on them. I got a 2023 TRD Off Road brand new last summer with the Off Road package, Black Out package and a few electronic options, as well as a lifetime warranty on the drive and power trains. I thought I was getting the shaft paying $3k over MSRP at $46k, because these things were flying off the lot and they could get away with it. Now I see people paying close to what I paid for used Tacos with sometimes a lower tier trim. I guess its all about the area you are in.

Picked up a new to me 2017 sport with 150,000 on the clock for $19k and my 01 Tacoma on trade. My frame was toast on my 1st gen. Very happy with my purchase. Miles don’t scare me if it’s been well taken care of.

Why can’t Autotrader.com properly identify a manual trans? I get all excited, start flipping through the pics, and oh this is an auto. WTH?!?

I just sold a '22 TRD ORP LR 6MT with 18k miles for $37,000 after two months of trying at $41/40/39/obo. He basically matched my Carvana offer at the very last second so I decided to give the deal to a human being. Next best offer I got was $34k. I was hugely disappointed, I took quite a hit on that, but that means it's maybe finally a good time to be in the market?

Sold the twin to your truck in May for $40k to CarMax. Mine had 23k miles on it. They ended up shipping to the northeast and sold it for $42,991 plus the shipping fee from Oklahoma. Dude paid close to $45k after everything was said and done.

I basically told the guy I'm only taking his offer to spite Carvana, haha. Figured they would take it and list at $42-43 and make some poor soul pay to transport it. It was detailed to near perfection so they wouldn't have even had to have laid a finger on it. I have friends and family out west, I was really tempted to ship it out to them to try and get a better deal on it. $37 here is 'high' at the online offer jobs, they've hovered around $35-36 more or less. I got a $39k trade offer for a high-fair priced minty 2G out in Seattle (I'd drive the 3G out to them), but sold while I was waiting on the trade appraisal, argh..
