Installed my prime day solar panel on the truck.

Is anyone else running a DC-DC converter into a power station with solar? Right now my ecoflow only has 1 DC input so I'm having to manually unplug and swap the two charging solutions depending on the situation but I would really like to have them both feeding into one place and then into the ecoflow.

I haven't found a charge controller that specifically deals with this situation and even the ecoflow "alternator" doesn't have an input for a solar panel.

The Husky floor mats put most other mats to shame, and this includes the Toyota ones included in the 2023 TRD Off Road. My 2013 Tundra wears the Husky Liners in front and back.

Just make sure that the new filter housing (cap) has a perforated metallic tube in the middle. Without this tube the cartridge will collapse, and the oil pressure will drop enough to prevent full flow through the cam position solenoids (sensors). This happened to my 2013 Tundra, and 2 sets of fault codes, one for the cam in bank 1 and bank 2 timing being over-retarded. The fix was to replace the new oil filter housing that lacked the perforated tube with the plastic one that had this tube.

The perforated tube supports the cartridge through the entire center. In this case the greater pressure in the oil in the housing cannot collapse the cartridge (the oil pressure in the tube is not as great as the pressure outside the cartridge). Now, this does not happen to the metallic spin-on filters, since these already have a metallic wall (housing), and also a perforated plastic or metallic tube (or wall) through the center of the cartridge inside the housing.

Yikes! Do you speak from experience?

The OEM metal filter housing I purchased came with that perforated tube.

If it has the perforated tube, then it should be fine. OEM parts are expensive, too, but worth the money. The aluminum cartridge housing in my 2013 Tundra (inherited from my oldest son who passed away last year) didn't have the perforated tube.

My brother had a son who died. I will only say that his mother had a difficult time adjusting to it.

Put on a new bumper. Pretty straight forward but could use better instructions. BSM is working so far without calibration
    [IMG]
Check out those bolts through the light pod cutout:rofl:
Need to go back and flip them since they are comically long and stick out below the bumper right now. I’ll visit that once I make some covers for the cutouts and the new tag lights and parking sensor retainers come in

Tinted windows (30 front/5 back), Weathertech window deflectors, chrome tailgate letters, raptor lights, front tow shackles, and red painted OEM skid plate
Good call. I took that off and realized that the OEM skid plate looks horrible, so I just bought a TRD skid plate. And so the mods continue....

Very Nice. So someone finally solved the BSM issue with these bumpers. Do the backup sensors also work without issue. I have been waiting for this. Please keep us updated. Thank you!!
