    Good Morning Sunshine

Yep, got the annoying seatbelt nanny turned off, still lights which is good. I want the reminder. That was an amusing series of door opening/closing and seatbelt "clicks." Younggun nephew google foo'd that override hack. I gotta read the book some. I'm very happy with the car, but I think "SumBitch" might stick, just 'cuz...

For years shops would not turn “off” settings because of liability issues. YOU CAN’T TURN THE SETTINGS REQUIRED BY LAW OFF. So now some of them you can modify yourself. Go figure….

Good Morning Tom :hattip: and thank you.To be completely honest with myself, I think the seed of wanting an Avalon was planted when you got yours. I reckon thanks for that too. Love the space and comfort in the vehicle.
    :fistbump:
Yes Sir, two books are in the glove box, I'm fixing to pull them out for review. Thanks for the tip on the trunk, I'll be careful with that.

Has your dry eye been feeling better? I do hope so. Take care and have a great day. :)

Both my best friends have retired ... I think that's what got me considering taking early retirement over the Winter ... that's what I get for hanging out with guys 4-6 yrs older than me. I'm past it now, barring any influential factors I'll stay the course for another 5-7 years.
    God willing

I sometimes feel bad for them. Then I remember that I worked at some job or another from age 12 and think, nah. :)

I just bought something too, and one of the things that aggravates me no end is the automatic windows. All the windows automatically go down all the way if you hit the switch, even the rear ones. Like I don't have the strength or the patience to hold a switch long enough to get the window down. What I don't have the patience for is stopping the window where I want it to be and it starts to roll up all the way instead of just stopping. Aaargh!

Oh, and the name for the new rig is Webee. We be on the road again. We be havin' an adventure. We be shuckin' an' jivin', and groovin' an' movin'.

    MEEEEE TOOOOOO.
MMMMMMM I’m busier now than before..

    Exactly

I’m still waiting for that Tuesday snow storm and watch everyone leave for work and I can take care of it at my leasure.
I had to work late on Tuesday's and after 7pm I’d get home. All the driveways were clean and I would roll up on mine and have 2 feet by the road. 2 1/2 hours later I could go in and eat. Up at 5am and out the door.

Been three years and no storm big enough on a Tuesday to make me say
“There, take that you fuckers” lol….

    Morning all:

Welcome to the porch, we have porch swings, rocking chairs, and recliners, take your pick, but fill up the cooler first, it's hot and everyones thirsty!

Congrats on the new ride MQQSE, you'll figure out the bells and whistles, at least most of them!

So did a guy who used to sit on a park bench every morning and watch the cars go by with a big smile on his face,, he was on welfare!

Good morning Susan, old geezer types.
Hooked up my Scarecrow motion sensor/sprinkler to see if it will deter critters from accessing Repo pups pen and crapping there. Sorta works, , first night were fewer presents, yesterday was no unauthorized presents, so will check in a bit when light is better. Did bait the neighbors corner and could see a few left overs there. :)
    Duane
PS: Should add I let Repo in the house at night to sleep on his bed.

    Good Morning :hattip:

More rain and t storms in the forecast today

The storm drains in my neighborhood can't keep up with the rainfall

This was yesterday after a t storm dumped 2.5 inches of rain in less than 15 minutes

Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! This keyboard is driving me crazy - refuses to type vowels half the time; might be time for something new after all. Off to Heart Doc for follow up this morning.

Gold Complex Fires east of me have a line around the Mill Fires which grew together, but not contained, the Smith Fire part is contained I understand but not out. That is great news. Smith Fire was only around 50 acres and the Mill Fires grew to 2300 acres. Night helicopters and dozers worked o/n.
