    Electric - More likely...

Wind powered? Perhaps not so much.

That's the plan. Only mods are sound system related and stock size all terrains will be used for its entire life. Will see frequent off road use, though.

I'd say the most important thing is somehow protect the undercarriage. My 2007 tundra had 231k when I sold it for my tacoma. Only thing replaced on it was the frame and rear leaf springs, which toyota took care of at 174k and 11 years I believe.

All my toyotas over the last 33 years I've owned them has only been retired or sold due to rust. Combat that and you are fine.

    2014 Tacoma 040 SR5 4x4 DC SB V6 AT5 Tow Pkg Entune+ Mostly stock with a couple of non-OEM nods.M mods.
Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
Change the oil and OEM filter every six months or 5,000 miles (synthetic) Everything else is gravy. "Somewhere between 5-10,000" mile oil changes is too much.

If you use synthetic oil, it doesn't matter if you live in the desert or the north pole, or how fast you drive but just don't beat the snot out of it with red-line "fun/experiments." :proposetoast:

    Ha!
    No Spinnaker??

    Personally, I'd go for this:
    upload_2024-7-24_11-21-52.png
A pusher prop should be better for the hairdo...
I like radial engines too. I see wind would not be the preferable power source for wheeling anyway...

I imagine it would be a horrible experience to drive any of these off road! - The dust flying everywhere, full power always to climb over minor obstacles (or just getting hung-up..). What about backing-up? - thrust reversing?

Sails would be much quieter, but would only be good in an open space...

Why would he fly spin when those sails are clearly trimmed for sailing upwind?
Probably on a close reach by the looks of it

I would expect to see it at the bow ready to fly at the mark for the downwind run! :D

It’s been a long long time since I started a thread, but I remember a link button in the upper right on the first page of the thread that will allow you to edit the title.

It’s a local saying I think that’s derived from a Seinfeld episode. My quotation was not perfectly accurate. :)
