this check should already be locked in. rememeber when u do any pay change, if its not in by a certain time, then u will have to get it at the end of the month or next pay period. this is the same concept

You are correct to a point with the whole pay issue. The only thing is that is for the accounting portion of the pay. For changes....I have seen LESs in the past and they had jacked my pay up prior to that pay period. If the gov does shut down, there is a very good chance we will not be paid on the 15th. Glad I don't live pay check to pay check!

 

well my les says im gettin paid but only bout half of my pay. my roomate is the same. its cuz we gettin paid for this week and not the full "2 weeks"

 

yeah, i dont either, but i want my effin money. the good thing is we will get back payed for what we miss

 

Yeah, my wife's is the same way . Wonder what they plan on doing with the other 1/2 if the stuff gets approved today.

I always hated how when they screwed giving me right amount it took like 2 months to fix, and anytime I got overpaid they took it out next pay period no questions asked. I thought if they docked your pay they were supposed to ask how you wanted them to get it back, all at once or over sevral pay periods.

 

That is what is normally done. The only problem is that this effect EVERYONE in a very negative way. I imagine they plan on doing some type of casual pay to make the difference up. There are a lot of people who will definetly be without because of this!
