Hot Wheels

Those M2 clear display cases are a pain unless you don't take the car out of them but in most cases I do. I have 3 boxes of them sitting there empty. I've actually begun taking the clear part of them and flipping them upside down for small parts holders with my 1/64 diecast modifications. They fit in the tool chest I have for that stuff. I could use the larger ones for my 1/24 scale parts if I can get around to it.

Not to brag to much but I won at marriage. My wife just sent me a picture of these. While going grocery shopping she wandered over to look for me without me even asking. Haha.

2 of my favorites. Custom Snake and Mongoose Drag Beetles my friend made for me. He also made matching milk-tow vehicles with trailers for them.

 

Unfortunately these won’t fit in the case. I may have to build a small shelf for them and a couple of other tow vehicles.

Starting to realize one of the benefits of being retired. I came home with 7 finds the last 2 days because I am in stores before the buzzards can get there. I'm not greedy so I left things behind hopefully for someone else like myself. Picked up 4 Zemac Collector 55 Chevrolet Gassers to modify of the 10 or 12 that were there in freshly filled dump bins at Wal Mart. Also got 2 of the new release P1800 Volvo Gassers which are ugly but I can change that. Also picked up a yellow VW Beetle in the bin I had never seen before to modify. The Treasure Hunt P1800 eludes me. I did notice not seeing a single Treasure Hunt in the fresh display. You never do. I'm jotting down delivery dates at stores now.

 

That yellow VW is probably the Transformers one.

 

I have to go look for that one myself

 

Picked up this Bronco last night...nice design...simple.

 

Small haul from today! Found the Land Cruiser pack at Target and the Gassers are from eBay score last week.
