Found a new use for the Hard Korr pod lights today. I had a 4 hour online training class today. Chose to log in from home and used one of the pods on the desk to provide some balanced lighting on my face.
I hate the "cadaver Blue" one normally gets from being lit by the screen. Pro tip: use one of the white settings as the orange looks too Jersey shore spray tan for the midwest.

 

Those sure are some nice stickers. Mounting in the wheel wells? or ahead of the tires?

Rear bumper is coming with some Baja Designs amber lights. These will go in the wheel wells.

Amazon Prime free shipping. I had some Amazon rewards credit to burn. I've booked a lot of travel on my Prime card lately and rewards were adding up. These were almost free.

I was thinking wheel wells. Where would they be mounted ahead of the tires? Curious...

 

I've heard that mounting ahead of the tires is better for off roading at night as it allows your spotters to see what is directly in front of the tires rather than being cast in shadow from the tires themselves.
Not that we do much trail riding at night. Yet....

For general camp use mounting in the wheel wells provides the ideal ambience.

 

So do you mean like facing down on the underside of the front bumper and then in back of the sliders facing down in the rear? Have a pic?

It's definitely worth temp hooking them up and playing with possible locations. Maybe even taping some magnets to the back to hold them in place.

If the wife drove the truck I'm afraid she'd make some new trails. In 8 years I only let her drive it once, for about a half mile.
