My 2023 Toyota Tacoma I have to replace new brakes at 10,000 km and rotors there’s so hot you can even touch them so should I upgrade to heavy duty brakes?

Maybe a caliper problem, but they should have found that.
Any chance you’re riding the brakes?

keep in mind brakes are supposed to get hot and if one side is hotter than the other, this is normal too.
The normal operating temps for disc brakes are well into the 'BBQ bare skin' range
if you suspect the caliper is seizing up, jack up and spin while hot.
check for bearing play while you are at it,
if there is growling noise while driving along with excessive heat, time for new bearings

An easy way to check for dragging brakes is to cruise for several miles and (safely) pull over and coast to a stop without touching the brake pedal. You can gently use the hand brake at a very low speed.

Get out and reach through the wheel spokes and feel the rotors - they should be cool and about equal temperatures.

If they are hot they are dragging for whatever reason, further investigation will be required.

Absolutely no need. I overloaded my truck dozens of times, zero issues with stock brakes and my truck is modified.

If you need new brakes at 10K KM, something is definitely wrong.

When do the brakes get “hot”?!

These brakes last 40-120k miles for the fronts and 100k+ for the rears.

Add some details to your post. And post up what the dealer said… I.e take a pic of their inspection paperwork

    2 possible reasons:
    1. you are too old and use left foot for braking
    2. you are too young and have a leadfoot on the gas pedal

Have you checked your rear brakes? I’m wondering if it dives when you stop because somethings going on back there that is making you mainly use the front? Does the ebrake work?

??? I'm at 188'000kms on my factory brakes all around. Still have 7mm on the front as of a month ago and i've towed many times including cars from Vancouver to Northern Alberta along with many other trailers and payload across the province and country.

Explain your issue a little more.. was the hot brakes your reason for going in or were they also worn out? Where do you live/drive? Are you bombing through wet tailings areas?
