I was bored and surfing around looking for stuff about my truck. Ran across this: http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/complaints/results.cfm

You gotta read some of these "complaints"! Hilarious!

    My favorite (so far):

    Make: TOYOTA Model: TACOMA

Year: 2002 Complaint Number: 10159402 Summary: DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONTAL AIRBAG SENSORS PICK UP RADIO TRANSMITTERS. THE DEALERSHIP DETERMINED THE AIRBAGS HAVE A GLOBAL POSITIONING SENSOR AND A SECRET SURVEILLANCE DEVICE, WHICH CAUSED THE RADIO TRANSMISSIONS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ALERTED

I've been keeping an eye on this board for quite a while. One of the complaints that keeps coming up (at least for the '08s) is this sudden acceleration causing crashes. One or two, I'd think someone's tipping the glass too much. But there's quite a few stories about this issue. Makes me wonder if there's anything to it.
