How many signs did your Road Sign Assist up?

Those that say these signs are read by camera, where is the camera? I have a camera on my Sport's tailgate for backing up. I wasn't aware of one in the front of a Sport.

 

I believe it’s coming from the map software/gps. But I am not sure.

 

Behind the review mirror under that big black cover against the windshield. You see it from outside, even has a small defroster on the windshield in that small area.

Yes they should. I wonder if it's the same camera the Premiums have for 360. Probably not since 360 can view the ground in front.

 

Premiums have an additional camera in the grill. I believe the camera behind the rear view is for Safety Sense features only so the front portion of the 360 is entirely from the grill.

For whatever reason, Toyota's answer to any camera based feature is "add another camera." Digital rear view not using the backup camera is another example.
