if you were coming down, we could check out something in idaho springs area...haven't been around there before...don't know how bad the snow will be along I70...

The only trail I have ever been on in CO is Peru Creek from Montezuma area. Idaho Springs area should be OK Snow wise I think.

kingston peak (probably lot of snow though), mammoth gulch or moon gulch or pickle gulch (maybe too tame?), slaughterhouse gulch or hidden valley road (seems like a little challenge, never been though)?

Edit: all central city, rollinsville, nederland areas

I would prefer to stay out of the snow on these steep slopes I think.

Barbour fork is closed until June 14.

    Same with Devil's Canyon.

We may have this issue for everything up towards this area?

That looks like a really easy going ride through town. I could be down for that just to get out maybe.

    oh-my-god road to russel gulch

    Meeting Places
To do Oh-My-God Road first, meet at the McDonald's or Starbucks in Idaho Springs. Russell Gulch is about 6 miles from Idaho Springs if you take the easy route.

Bob, as far as skids go. Once you have an IFS skid and T-case skid you're pretty much set. The transmission pan is tucked up pretty high, other than that there isn't very much to take out on the under body. Maybe consider diff armor because its very cheap prevention compared to denting in the axle housing...

    and sliders are a given.
