The sound deadening saga continues. Got 7 hours of labor wrapped up in this door alone.

Pieces on the floor are copies of what I put in the driver rear door skin for the passenger side.

Today my Tacoma thought it was a Tundra trying to haul a 24’ extension ladder to finish my painting project.

I'm estimating the total sound deadening material weight to be around 50lbs. It's really not packing on a lot of weight because the dynamat extreme is only 1.7mm thick. They did just release a new ProX line that is 5mm thick . I actually just revamped the entire sound system since the whole interior was removed. Wired in a Pioneer GM-DX874 amp and powered the front door speakers at 100w each & 2 8" rear subs in an enclosed box at 300w. The front doors are running Infinity Primus PR9610cs component speakers and the rears are standard Infinity Reference REF-6532ex.

I used to listen to the radio at 30+ volume and lately it's been hovering around 12 lol

Not replacing. Just going to a one vehicle family. I am on LOA for the near future. Wife hasn’t driven in two years due to health issues. We have a 23 4-runner pro with 7200 miles.
So I’m trying to be fiscally responsible. If I don’t get what I want I’ll keep it. Need to do a detail first.

Finally got the Z out of storage today. Changed all the fluids, drained the old fuel. Test drive. God this car is fun. For being 34 years old, it can still compete. Finished with a hand wash for a car show on Saturday.
