    Wow what a sweet forest, I live like a mile from the Ocala Nat. forest in Florida, its cool but its real flat. Like real flat, and only one creek you can cross or drive in. We got lots of Lakes...

    If its not a marked trail it is not treading lightly... One of the reasons trails get closed down it because non wheelers dislike people going off the trail. They complain and then poof trail shut down. If you don't stay on the trail stay at home;)

    here we go with the "e-wheelers" getting their panties in a bunch over a couple of pictures of guys enjoying their trucks on the internet. None of you were there, therefore you dont know if it was maybe indeed a marked trail that hadnt been used in a while.

    Edit: Just to piss you "types" off .... heres my old truck in Arbor Vitae, WI ... trail was open from other side then came upon this.

    I was just saying that treading lightly has nothing to do with spinning tires. Strongly suggesting that it was infact not a trail.:D I have yet to see a trail that goes down a stream of running water in a national park:jerkoff:. Maybe you dont give a shit that possible trails may close. I have personaly been effected by asshats who like to go off the trail. The best wheeling place in RI got shut down because neighbors complained jeeps ended up in their pond and got the whole shabang closed down.
    Please prove me wrong and show me the trail markets i will gladly edit my posts. Thanks.

    wasnt me, terms like that are too elementary school for me to use as insults

    and my "off roading" consists of an atv and a mountain bike, seeing as a stock 2wd truck with an open rear doesnt get too far.

    Furthermore while i agree with most of the principles of "tread lightly", i think it goes too far when people are calling out someone on the internet where there doesnt appear to be any damage to said landscape .... whats next? Are you guys gonna give people shit if they park on their lawns? The way some of you go after people who post their off roading pictures why not get it over with and sell your trucks, buy priuses, and join the sierra club.

    From my perspective (as a Tread Lightly Trainer) yes that is definitely against the Tread Lightly ethic and i do not agree with it at all. Trust me I'm very tired of seeing public land closed down to the ORV community because of ignorance and the lack of education.

    Yeah and I bet there isn't a single person in that thread that has a clue about the impact they have and I didn't even click the link!!!

    Call us "e"wheelers is you will but having been seriously involved with trail closures and seen what it takes to present a case against us... It's an eye opener.

    I do not approve of the OP's pictures nor the attitudes of those that support the action.

    I have no problem closing a thread or deleting pictures that go against the Tread Lightly ethic.
