    Small propane tanks!

Think they're meant for 5lb bottles and he wanted two so knocked them out real quick.

Yesterday I realized that you can use a small fireball square tool to set the distance of a 4' sheet on your Crossfire Pro. It also helps you to square your sheet up as well.

    20240727_091129.jpg

Pushing the sheet against the edge means you sets the sheet up in place to utilize the full 4' wide cutting area instead of having to go back and forth with adjusting your sheet and trying to zero it in.

    20240727_091119.jpg

My cut area for this specific nesting was only 47.19" wide, so you can see the even spacing at each end of the sheet (done on purpose).

a video showcasing this came up in my youtube recomendations. i think it pretty clearly shows some of the mechanisms used-- basically a d-handle tied to some bike brake cables to actuate 4 separate locks at different times, and then some creative bending to make the leg shapes that ensure the front rollers are over the loading surface before releasing the locks.

Photographer friend took some business photos of me years ago. That exact picture was the inspiration for a few of them. Started with TIG, but the sparks from the flux core looked more dramatic.
First and last time I'll ever weld in a suit.

I messed around with the spoolgun last night. I think it went pretty well for my first aluminum welds.

That's the lovely thing about a spoolgun

Once you find the right speed/amps, you run it like MIG and it's stupid easy

    Looks great

For small stuff, I run the press brake manually instead of running it on air.

Nice bend, the SWAG press brake would have trouble with that short bend.
