I thought about that, but none of my ladders go that high, and neither of them power poles are any straighter than what I used, and I don't want to risk life or limb to service the unit, and...:notsure:

Came across something really weird yesterday. Did the front brakes on my bil's old Ford escort. The hardware is metric. The caliper bolts are 14 mm, but the cradle bolts weren't 14, or 15, or 9/16 :notsure:. The first bolt I tried had already been rounded off by the last guy's impact gun, so that was fun. :censored: He also put anti seize on them, which had hardened up to a solid like it always does. I finally got it off by hammering a 9/16 on it and heating it up with a torch. Luckily I had a bolt to replace it with, and got the others off with a slightly sloppy 15 mm. I actually touched up the two bolts on the driver side with the bench grinder so a 9/16 socket fit perfectly for reinstall. Now I guess I need to buy a 14.5 mm socket when I exchange my cracked 15 for a new one. o_O
