Iceco 12v Fridge C/S Kudos

Was using my 45L Iceco fridge for a few years, running off my dual battery/solar setup. Took it out for my passenger space and it sat in my basement for a year or so. Reinstalled it and was getting intermittent issues with it not getting cold, took a long shot and emailed them.

An Amazon purchase 4 years past their 1 year warranty but because they couldn’t diagnose it for repair so they are sending a refurb unit and covering return shipping. Blown away. Thought I was gonna have to chalk this up as an L.

Anecdotal situation but for anyone considering Iceco, good info to have.

I think they all have 5 year warranty now, either you slipped through the cracks or they were retroactive with the warranty length

Im seriously considering the new apl35 after it is available on more than just indiegogo, and a big part of that is the 5 year warranty

Back when I got it it wasn't 5 year. They told me this and they offered to send a refurb unit. It came in today, had a dent on one panel. They're covering return shipping. 10/10. Cold beer is back on the menu boys.
