Our 2023 Taco, for the second time, the Pre-Collision System and VSC System lights came on. Both times towing our camper. First time we on back roads with some slow speed but sharp turns. Took to the dealer and replaced the brake controller (Redarc) with a new one. (Assuming that the brake controller was the cause). Reset and we were good to go. Towed camper since then with no issues.
Then this past week, we just left the house, with the camper, and after two turns at stop signs, the lights came on again! Off to the dealer again for a reset.
Any idea why is this occurring at random times?
    Thanks,
    Bernie

    While towing?
First I would start by taking it on some scales and weighing front and rear axles. If the rear is sagging (forcing the front sensors up and of course) you will get this. Actually weighing axles is the right way,, the rest is just guessing.

The OE rear leaf springs are very soft, and can sag with groceries, let alone a truck full of people, their stuff, and a camper hooked to the rear. I added a fiberglass topper and Decked for a total of 330#, and my truck was sagging and borderline dangerous to drive, as the rear was bouncing off the bumpstops at highway speeds,,, especially curves and imperfections like expansion joints. I’d guess you have nearly, if not more, than 330# of hitch weight,,,, before adding 1k lbs or more of people, gear, etc.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Yup, me too. With the air bags, I put 800 pounds in the rear and it is so stable on and off road. Best upgrade ever. With 800 pounds in the bed I can get a 1.5 inch lift in the back which is very handy for the trails I drive, lots of deep bumper dragging washouts.

I have 300 pounds full time in the bed and with the air bags at only 15 psi (max 150 psi) it looks like this.
