I'm glad I don't live in caleeFORneeya (arnold voice) if that's that state's attitude towards hunting... I like animals, but Bambi is delicious!

They do have multiple attitudes on hunting, the only thing the entire state agrees on is it's fantastic financial situation. Thanks for the coffee.

exactly!!! all the houndsmen i know are selective on there kills. that is one good thing about hound hunting you can let the young ones go and kill the older animals. in other words you can be more selective. one thing people either forget or do not realize it you have to go where the dogs go. if that is the bottom of a hell hole you have to go get the dogs. most (atleast a good one) will not leave the tree unless you get them or the cats comes down and runs. i have had to hike 4 1/2 hours into the middle of some the worst country Oregon has to get the dogs. if it is so easy i would say go try it!

by the way Oregon has over 7000 cougars!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have a big problem i have seen 10 all with out dogs in 3 days i saw 5 on one trip.

I've come to a conclusion. There are a lot of girly men on TW who think hunting animals is wrong but are okay with buying beef at the grocery store.

And, there are a lot of people who don't seem to understand that your post doesn't make any sense if its in reaction to the OP when we're now on page 10 and post 197 of this thread.

Hmmm.. That's odd. I saw the news this morning and they were talking about a bobcat on a cactus. It was being chased by a mountain lion so the bobcat climbed the cactus. Click here for Slideshow of said bobcat on cactus.[IMG]

It's apparently not odd for bobcats to climb these cactus. Google Bobcat on cactus and saw a bunch of different pictures.

I was not referring to you. I've seen some other threads you are part of where you posted pics of some of your carpentry. Not girly, definitely not.

I think he meant me because I am from California
I don't mind hunting at all, I'm just not a big fan of hunting a mountain lion. If you want to shoot an Elk or deer or whatever thats cool. Venison and elk meet are delicious. I just don't think bear hunting or mountain lion hunting is cool. Call me girly or whatever i could careless:D
