If alcohol is involved, does it matter what property one is on?
Thinking of snowmobile accidents. They go across private field, often rented and maintained by groups or volunteers.
Is it at your own risk?

I remember when I was on a health kick (don’t laugh) about 6 or 7 years ago and got a bike. First time ever traveling long distances on the road (as opposed to the sidewalk as a kid).

I remember most of my rides were filled with me yelling expletives at every other car that passed me. I can also remember not giving a shit using all of the space I was legally allowed, especially on longer uphill slogs.

I think it has to do with the difference in heart rate. It puts one person in the frame of mind that everybody is trying to run them over, and the other is just pissed off they have to wait, which gives them time to think about all of the ways that bike rider is an idiot.

By the way, if anybody is looking for some good driver vs biker “hate-banter”…the guys from Top Gear are hilarious. Be warned, those guys are outright offensive though lol

I bike a fair amount so I try to share the road properly regardless of if I’m driving or riding. When I’m driving and come across bikers that are doing the right thing, I give them a wide berth. When I come across asshats that are 3 abreast and filling the entire lane with no intention to move aside in the slightest… all bets are off.

Any sane person would think that. A lawyer will look at this thinking: County property, not properly supervised...$$$$ Payday!!! I sure hope not, but it's happened way too often.

Came across a thread of a member in CA looking for ghost town run ideas. Thought that would be cool but I'm not heading to CA anytime soon.
Was thinking, shit. U.P. must have ghost towns. I know some of you have been to the area. I found up on the Keweenaw all these ghost towns along hwy 41.

Wouldn't be a bad little run to take the family on.
Go check out some ghost towns then maybe roll over and take some of the 7hr plane crash trail back down to Crandon.

August 22-25 is no good for me. Otherwise I'm open/I will make time available. But don't let me hold up the group either.
