Blown seals, worn eyelets, rusted bodies or ?

I'm trying to understand the mode of failure to point you in a good direction. Corrosion/road grime is typically harder on shocks around here since we don't have go fast stuff to actually put real heat into the shock.

Also define lots of travel? 10, 12, or 14?

Doubtful that there's any real issue there. I run a much much heavier wheel/tire/axle combo with zero issues from no limit straps. The shop's I'd talked to said they really aren't needed until you're jumping.

They started seeping around November. Started conversation with Crikey Mike shortly after. Still fine in Arkansas but the last few weeks have gotten much worse-like no dampening on bumps at highway speed. Getting interesting!

I'll help do some translation: stock rear shock mounting points, Alcan super duper heavy custom leaf pack but he is still running SOA so travel is probably 8-10" range (but who knows without measurements). No jumping but he drives like Tigger in Winnie the Pooh lol. Blown seals because existing shocks probably bottom and/or top out and get worked hard.

Glad to hear you lived Dan. How many times did you slip into conversation something like "See honey, doesn't this make you want a 4Runner? They are like Tacomas just more awesome-er."

It was actually very comfortable sitting in the passenger seat. She drove from Tomahawk to Prentice.
4Runner idea she didn't care for.

Anyone looking for some sliders for less than the cost of a case of beer?

She probably thought that a 4Runner was too masculine. Just tell her it's for you.

    Don't give me ideas.

    Enjoy,
All I get is generic store bought coffee and the sound of a ceiling fan.

I’m usually woken up be the sound of bass boats going to their tournaments, but with the current high waters, we have slow no wake, mornings are splendidly peaceful this summer!

What do you have for a pier? That looks very nice.
