Hey guys. I have a stock tacoma that I plan on lifting. I am going to have to end up ditching my plans for ICONS since money is a little tight. Anyways, Im going to buy some bilstein 5100s off my friend for 100 bucks and I was wondering if you guys had any input on how front billies set at 2.5 would look? I dont have a rear TSB or any other mods to the rear suspension. Heres a pic of the billies..

    billies_3af91119bc26a2f5e2b90560451a0314f1caf8f8.jpg

and heres a pic of my truck so far. Im kinda done with the "looks" mods and Im wanting to do something with my truck that would make it look more agressive and perform better offroad with a budget in mind.

I think it would look the same, but 2.5" higher up front.

    hahahahhaha Ok captain obvious!

for the OP: You will have a pretty decent bro lean. If thats the look you are after then you are set. If you want to be more level then lower them to the 0.85" setting.

Well I want to even out the truck a bit but still have a slightly higher rake up front. Also, I wouldnt need to get new UCAs right? Thats only after a 3 inch lift? Or does it differ from truck to truck? I guess I can just see how it feels after I get it aligned.

Also concerning "Bro Lean"? Are there any benefits from that? Or is it strictly looks?

oh ok. I can defininately get some TC ucas later down the line, but would it damage my suspension if I drive around like that for a while?

with less caster the truck will not track as well on the freeway. I had 3" on my old Taco with no UCAs and it drove fine.

Thanks. Also, I forgot to mention, Ill be using stock coils. Is that ok for the 2.5 rake Im going for? It seems like when people get aftermarket coils, the ride is too stiff for them

The settings on the billies are designed for stock coils. if you upgraded coils you would have to set it lower to compensate for taller/stiffer springs.
