@Brownmatthall , didn’t you just replace your spc ubj? What did you use and how was it?

 

Should have left it. I had a few of those after a kidney surgery many moons ago.

 

Yup, ordered the new joints from autozone and they sent the new sealed design (I think the part number is like 50001 or something). Install was pretty simple, just mark the shit out of its orientation to ballpark it and get a new alignment after

 

Cool, yeah I see the sealed version and the old zerk ones. I’ll try the sealed ones also.
Want to try seeing @RockfishTaco to get it done.

 

So far so good on mine night and day difference in feel when I swapped em too, mine were blown to shit lmao

 

My camburg uppers are shot and need a rebuild but the spc uppers have brand new bushings. And I know the spc will get the wheels to clear so that seems to be the route.

 

Me, and lots... swap 5100s to 6112s, new UCAs.
Rear, leafs, shocks, and hammer hangers.

But it’s mostly about getting 4 on Chases truck then @Shoeby is looking to get a lift/ new parts installed too. Maybe @MikefromCT will come by and we can get his brakes done so he doesn’t go to the shop

 

Careful what you ask. My rears have never been touched, and I am just past 153k. Could be a fun one… Also, Ive never done drum brakes before.

 

Not terrible but i recently started and gave up on mine. I don’t think they were ever touched either. I couldn’t even get the drums off. I’ll be going there extreme route and take the wheel cylinders off and drilling the pins to get it to fall apart then remove


Could always plan to do the front and check the rear. My last truck I changed them at 206k because I was in there for a diff fluid leak that soaked everything. Could have Drew come do the rear while the front gets done. He’s a pro and very fair prices.
I may go this route too. He’s one of very few that can work on my stuff without question.

 

I'm dreading mine lmao, they're still good enough but I might just pay someone to deal

 

I checked mine at 160k and they were only like 30% worn

 

My ebrake still grabs well, that's all I really care about

Waiting for the final price on tires from Evan. Going to order 4. Hope to get them some time next week. They are also 12 pounds lighter than my BFG's, 41 lbs. compared to 53 lbs.

 

@super_white I have 4 OEMs with ATs, and a FS spare sitting the yard....
They're Goodyear ultra-terrain
