I’m giving this worse odds than the cheapest slot machine Vegas has to offer. That being said I’m gunna help him all day tomorrow.

I’m a little worried about a few things comin apart if he drives stupid in the woods

Agreed, he decided front hydrobumps were high on the " to get driving" priority list...

Ignore all the spatter, I was welding outside sitting in brake fluid with a new machine....

    Hey all I'm out.

We took the kids on vacation last week and after five days of that we absolutely need a vacation. We both agree that there's no way we want to spend five days off grid right now with our two little dictators. We are going to do a few nights more locally here.

I certainly can try, I’ll see if it fits on the hitch basket, I am not bringing a trailer. I’ll start loading up early next week and know if it will fit

So i was hoping to make it up but now it' a last minute possibly. My truck was attacked by a dump truck dropping stones it was caught on my dash cam. I wouldn't care but the windshield was struck 5x, 1 was in the way of the lane departure camera, I don't want to replace 6 months down the road out of my own pocket. So the owner of the dump truck was cool about it but because of the dozen or so rock hits to the truck they decided to have it go through their insurance. I would rather of settled but whatever, it's supposed to be done aug 16th fingers crossed.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to not sorry about rock chips in NMW for a week :)

See if you can get it done post-trip and if another happens, "must have missed it on the first inspection" :D

their already working on it but i'm hoping they finish it sooner then that i've been banking pro and floating holidays so time off is not a problem. The shops estimate also allowed for extra days because of the adjusters lack of doing her job, we had to back door the insurance company because she never called anyone back... long story but it's in progress.

I got 4 Billy Strings shows this week, but I’m more excited about getting to the woods next week.

    O.O

By the way if you ever get a chance to see Steve Poltz - GO. He talked about writing with Billy Strings in his second set. This was from his first. Great stage presence, really cool show to see.

    upload_2024-7-30_10-17-25.jpg

Yeah he sent me the picture today of the door and body work just basically still split open.
Week and a half, though. Throw some flex seal on there and send it.

    Oh shit balls - it's only a week and a half, I haven't prepared F all....Platform ain't in, food plans ain't planned, kayak J bars ain't on.....

    Here's my headcount/list I think so far.
    upload_2024-7-30_10-55-7.png

Yellow I just want to confirm.

I am unsure on the groups plans to actually make it to the woods proper. I would like to make it and get a patch for 2024

    :boink:

When are you planning to make the trek?
    Also status on the +1?

    :boink:

    :boink:

    :boink: for the friend?

I'm put you into the mix as coming up to OOB saturday morning to meet up with Matt and myself, then we'll go north from there. + Connor as OOB on Saturday but he might be up in the woods already. Unknown.

I put you in as woods on Friday.
@InCogNeatOh Parts is probably your camping buddy Friday night. Not sure if he'll be up there already, but he lives in southern Maine. If he isn't already up there, y'all might be able to meet up on the way up.

Bitchin. Let me know, I can bring some charcoal then.

 let me know, I think you said the 16th in another post. I just put you in as "WOODS?" for th 16th-18th.

 bitchin. My fridge would be able to keep temps at that point.
Been a rough July with it trying to keep up with the heat.

TBD. I think I'll pack everything and then see what it looks like for space to add all her food, bedding, towels, etc for the week. My inclination, today, though is no for NMW. But I'll bring her to VT in the fall!
