Yeah, all good I was agreeing with you. This is the first truck I've ever owned, I'm used to just the carpet mats in sedans. I guess I was expecting these to be a bit thicker.

Im assuming it will still take some time for aftermarket companies to have a bunch of stuff for the 4th gens?

Has anyone with an SR5 done anything else with their interior?

    LED lights for camper shell
I'm enjoying the new Taco SR5 (6 foot bed)!
Last week I installed an ARE CX Revo camper shell.
    upload_2024-7-27_14-26-24.jpg

Since I'll be camping in it, I wired an LED light strip to the overhead light to give me some better reading light. I also added a Gator bed mat. They guaranteed an exact fit, but it wasn't. Pretty close, though.
A little scrap carpeting makes it easier to crawl around in. When I go camping I'll through my futon mattress in there.

Today my ARK Splashguards mud flaps cam in. An easy install!

I have a Viofo A149 Mini 2 dash cam on order along with a Dongar cable for the install.
Then the last mod will be to ditch the air dam.

Very nice, slam some TRD OR take off wheels and tires and it’ll transform the way it looks.

Stole from someone on here. Painted the exhaust from the resonator back. Looks way better. I am sure the silver would have darkened to look better over time but brand new it stuck out

Tufskinz mudflaps. Fitment on the rear is perfect, but the front leaves a little bit to be desired. I also forgot to delete the 4WD logo as the tailgate already has one. So, just so you guys know, the truck is 4WD

Took the truck on her first camping adventure. Got 23mpg on 33s loaded with camping gear, mix of highway and mountains.

I've only done 16" wheels/tires, Husky Xact Fit F&R Floorliners, and a Tripleliner bed mat, but have been using it as my commuter and working around the house/mini farm. Just about 2300 miles on it so far, and will get the first oil change done at 2500 for peace of mind. Love it; My only real complaint is the front door panels rattle with the bass turned up so I will eventually need to pull them off, and add some sound deadener to them. Other future plans include adding full skid plates, and at that same time remove the front air dam.

Did you buy them both, or just doing test fits? I like the Yakima Overhaul.

The yakima outpost was my my old rack, served me well but left a lot to be desired:
    • fitment wasn't perfect as the hardware hasn't been updated for the 4th gen's bed rail position
    • 5ft bed only gives about 4ft of usable rail to mount to, therefore very limited in crossbar distance, including the side rails make it worse
    • mounting at max spread blocked the bed power outlets from opening
    • very tedious to change positions

the kuat ibex is just better in every way, ability to change mid vs. full height out the box and the new panel kits coming out is what sold me instantly

Yea, I had custom made bed bars. But they had a 19” rise so I could get the kayaks above the cab. The adjustable Overhaul looks like an interesting solution to compete with the Thule design.

Removed the TRD Off-Road stickers. A bit unnerving to use a power drill and rubber wheel, but it took the stickers off with ease and left the paint/finish untouched.

I wasn't a fan of Underground, but those black Methods make me rethink that
