Early departure, kiddo was acting up, which mean time to pull off the button down

 

I know I'm getting old because rearview mirrors that do things fuck my brain up.
I drove a friends Lexus NX last week and when I put it in reverse the whole rearview turned into a live view camera situation and it was awful.

Yeah was fun, visited a ton of Alpine lakes, outran fires, tried to set one of my brake drums on fire, saw a whale heavier than a cosmic singularity limp on a trail with a flat tire... You know normal shit.

I'm pretty sure I have one of those air boxes in a list on Amazon as one of the things I was going to try but never bought.
Looks like you made quick work with the snorkel

 

I caved and bought it on a whim - snorkel was just under $60 shipped - quality is more than I expected for sure. Cheap as shit and I'm pretty happy with it.

Airbox/filter thingy -- is a PTNHZ on Amazon - it is actually carbon fiber. It's also quite surprisingly good. Didn't have quite enough piping around so the corrugated tube will do for now.

 

Also dug up this little nugget from the front -- off the side of the house where I sometimes park -- better in the pot than stepped on.

 

How did you like working with that flex tube? Been thinking about replacing the stock inner fender air tube with that since mines cracked lol
