    103 out the door. 25 for the back ground check. I actually ended up getting the color version (red spider) which "he says it is 10 dollars more)" and gave it to me for free. :)

    The guy runs the store out of his garage. One man operation. He is actually really nice and seems like he knows his stuff. I am totally ok with the 25 dollars knowing I am keeping a local small business in business.

    Looks like Spikes come off the same line as DPMS.

    yea but each company can have the lowers made to their specs.

    actually he didnt get hosed. he lives in CA where things cost more in general. the cheapest ive seen spikes lowers for was like 80 bucks, then you gotta pay tax. if ordered then you pay shipping and FFL transefer fee. so for a hair over 100 for a stripped lower isnt that bad at all. my cheap ass DPMS lpk was 60 bucks, if you can find them cheaper let me know.
